PEACHTREE CITY , Ga. (July 30, 2007) – World Airways, a wholly owned subsidiary of World Air Holdings, Inc. (OTC:WLDA.PK), today announced that it has reached a tentative agreement with its flight attendants, represented by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT).
The company's flight attendants are subject to a collective bargaining agreement that became amendable Aug. 31, 2006. The new tentative agreement is subject to ratification by the World Airways flight attendants.
“This tentative agreement represents a great deal of effort and professionalism on the part of both negotiating teams,” said Charlie McDonald, World Airways chief operating officer. “We are pleased that we have worked out a mutually agreeable contract for our professional flight attendants over the next five years.”
